Hello and welcome !
I am sure that I am not the only one, who over the last two years has been swirling around in a bit of a muddle, not knowing from one month to another how things will change or pan out. Running your own business comes with both the excitement of doing your own thing, and the dread of what could and does, go wrong. So after two years of having things change on the spin of a coin, and having the best laid plans cancelled, thanks to Covid, it feels good to have that wonderful feeling, even if its just a flutter, that 2022 is the new start to something better.
If Covid taught me nothing else, it did teach me to be flexible, trusting in a future I couldn't always see, and moving out of my comfort zone, to try something old in a new way.
I am optimistically looking forward to 2022. I have clients I love who are creative themselves, so they just "get me" and I them, making scribbles, planning, developing ideas is more like play to me than work. I have a fresh new website, that wasn't planned, but has turned out to be the right decision, and I love it.
I am sticking my toe out of my comfort zone and trying something new, like this blog, and sharing my drawing process on YouTube. These are just baby steps, after all, it is still just January.
So looking forward to the coming year, I hope that your 2022 is a bright and happy one, filled with countless blessings.
